Aromatherapy oils or Essential oils are very important in the treatment of aromatherapy. These oils are concentrated extracts from different plant parts. They are extracted from the plant parts by using different processes such as distillation and expression. These oils are used for treating pains caused from different problems and to give relief from stress and to get out of depression. Different oils are used for treating different diseases.

Each oil comes with its own therapeutic benefit. It is a vast topic to know about all the oils at a shot. For this time, let us check some commonly used and popular essential oils in aromatherapy.

Cedar wood oil: The oil extracted from this wood is said to be one of the first essential oils ever extracted. Its usage can be found with ancient Egyptians. This oil is a woody scented essential oil that comes from Juniperus Verginiana tree which is a native tree of North America. The color of this oil is yellow and it can be used for inhalation, massages and can be added to facial creams. This oil is extracted from the lavender flowers by the process of stem distillation. This oil fights effectively against cold, flu and migraine. It is a wonderful essential oil to use in bath. It has antiseptic, anti depressant, deodorant properties which made it to use widely.

Lemon Oil: Lemon is a commonly used fruit in all our dishes. Similarly lemon oil is a very common ingredient in Aromatherapy. It stands for its smell and cleaning properties. The oil is extracted from the lemon peel by cold expression. It has wide range of benefits like improving concentration, digestion and a great aid to decrease the symptoms of acne and arthritis. It is a quick mood enhancer and acts as a natural immunity booster.

Tea tree oil: The one and only oil which has multiple benefits is the tea tree oil. Leaves of these tree are used for extracting oil. This oil acts as a natural immunity booster and also fights against three kind of infections. It heals burns, cuts and wounds and also acts as an insecticide. So, if you want to keep any essential oil at home that would be Tea Tree oil.
